It's a journey...
Chicken and the egg...
At the farmer's markets, we get a lot of requests for us to sell cups of coffee. Our standard response has been that we: Don't have the required license for it Are trying to focus our energies on being the best roaster we can possibly be. Both of which are true, but we are coming to realize that it's a bit of a chicken and egg situation. We give samples to people who are willing to stop so that overall they are happier with their choice when they get home and brew it for themselves. Everybody's taste buds are different,...
Just a heads up...
...we are pushing the pause button on roasting from 9/21 until 9/28. It'll be an absolute radio silence from us - we won't be reading emails; we won't be checking our cell phones; we won't get voice mails. Please consider ordering early to ensure you have enough of the good stuff to carry you through that time period. We wouldn't want you to go without... Until next time!
Caveat emptor
We have been thinking about how we discuss the flavor and use of our coffee while we are at a farmer's market versus what we have presented for product descriptions on our store's static web pages. Obviously, while we are at the market, we have the benefit of actually being there, answering questions, and give out freshly brewed samples (...all done as pour overs as the market is going on). It's a vastly different ( ... and much more interactive ...) experience - and we have been trying to come up with ways that will improve the information for each product...

The last step in any on-line transaction is the check out. It's the point that almost everyone dreads - we all like stuffing the cart, but we all hate seeing what the end result is going to really cost us once taxes and shipping are factored in.
